well, at least they played more aggressively after that goal ... but it seems like that just opens up things even more for the Caps.
Pick the poison, I suppose. |

Gonna have to open it up, activate the D -- hopefully Neuvirth holds up

Clearly playing hurt..
It's okay, I know it's a requirement to hate to get your Team Negative member card. |

Not looking good. No confidence that they'll get a goal this game let alone two. Cry. Before the game, the cbc crew was talking about the possibility of neuvy going to Calgary in the offseason. Wonder what we'd get in a trade |

on that goal, I didn't like how one of the Flyers (Vandevelde, I think?) chased the Caps player behind his own net while we were still short handed.
Led directly to the goal, imo. |

Exactly, Schenn should worry about creating some offence instead of flying around hitting everything. Has even had a shot on net this series??
We thought the D would be the weekness of this team and yet the O has clearly been the disgrace to this point

Watching this team try to create offense is like watching Orioles' starters pitch -- painful. - MrBuzzcut
I cannot remember a Flyer team being totally dominated in 2 games in the playoffs |

it is irritating. makes me wish lindros could have played against him in his prime. - hammarby31
that would have been interesting for sure. he kinda is today's Lindros in the sense of combining size, skill and speed. I actually like OV. I just can't stand Oshie, Chimera, Wilson, Williams and Richards and Trotz so I hope they crash and burn.
the Flyers are undersized and really don't have anyone to challenge him Physically. Schenn is our most Physical player and he is what, 6'1" 200 tops? the defense is small. I seriously pray Morin is a player and ready soon. I hope they draft someone with size and skill at 18, altho that won't help them for another 3 or so years. |

Twice AMak has passed it blind in front of his net to no one even close. Schenn has to quit leaving his feet on checks. |

I agree ... I don't get all the hate for AO.

I think you are clueless if you think any fan would prefer a glorious defeat vs a clinical win. - opeth_pa
Hence the word implicitly.
This forward corps does not have the kind of game breaking talent that is needed to contend. |

Schenn has to remember that there's this thing called a puck, and not to play every shift simply looking for a big hit. |

Go drool over your Pavelski poster. - opeth_pa
at least pavelski can score with a busted hand 5 goals in 5 games isn't too shabby wish giroux could do that we'd be winning this series if he did |

lindros would have put him through the (frank)ing glass. he hit harder than ovechkin does and was all around better player, imo, not that that has anything to do my point.
the flyers are undersized, no doubt. gudas is probably the most likely guy to be able to hit him and perhaps cause him some pain.
i'm desperate for morin to pan out. and i hope he gets at least a shot next year, if he doesn't make it out of camp. |

The need to learn to stop in front of the crease. Skating behind the goal line does no one any good. |
