the two division winners...1a plays WC2 and 1b plays WC1
We can say with a high degree of certainty that Washington will be playing the WC2 (8th seed) - YuenglingJagr

You are right that he shot it over his pad, but he also shot it right into his glove. He had room to shelf it though, which is what my argument is. Of course, it's easier said than done, but many other players have done it, so why shouldn't I expect one of our own to do the same? Mrazek just had to open his glove. Doesn't take extraordinary hand/eye coordination to do that my friend. - Corporate_hater
lol And in which professional league have you gained your goaltending experience? |

Where is that tool shed Pens fan that makes a comment anytime the Flyers lose? Figured he wouldn't say anything after last night, but not sure if I missed |

Possible Expansion draft rules are coming out on twitter. Nothing set in stone yet, but if the Flyers can only protect seven forwards and guys in the 3rd year of their ELCs are eligible to be drafted, Hextall maybe have to pick one of Raffl, Cousins and Laughton to leave exposed.
Giroux, Voracek, Couturier, Simmonds, Schenn makes five.
But if it's not till 2018 that's not such a big worry. |

So protected players for expansion draft i got (7 f, 3 D)
Jake
Claude
B Schenn
Simmer
Couts
Cousins
Raffl
D
Del Zotto
Radko
Ghost (Not sure if he is exempt, they say 1st and 2nd year pros exempt)
Does that mean 2 year as of 2016? Or going into 2nd pro season example 16-17 season? |

Sounds like a expansion draft would either be 2017 or 2018. So Ghost would be one of the D in 2017, and in 2018 they'd probably have to protect Ghost, Provorov, and one of Morin or Sanheim.

Would be interesting to see what goalie they protect too, I would think Mason but never know.

Great. It's like building a new neighborhood of McMansions next to the 5 year old McMansion neighborhood that has half the houses up for sheriff sale |

So I guess its key to leave the young d in juniors till age 20? So the elc doesnt count down yet? I dont think I follow. Im not very smart on this stuff. |

I'd be looking to trade Neuvirth before leaving someone like him exposed. I wonder if the trade market would flood with teams that have too many good guys to protect looking to trade them for some value to teams who lack talent before losing them for nothing.
Edit: I know each team could only lose 1 player per expansion team added, but I'm referring more to players who would be left unprotected that would almost certainly be selected. |

I would feel better about this game had Chicago not taken an ass kicking against LA 5-0 last game out. |

I dont think we will have both Mason and Neuvirth by the time expansion happens...I also believe there is a minimum number of games played before players are eligible |
