Bad officiating. - Feanor
Live it looked like it should have been an icing. But I was hoping to come on here and be told I was just a homer and it was the right call |

Coach of Year possibly? - hockeylover
If he makes the playoffs and isn't one of the Jack Adams nominees, it should time for an investigation.

100% agree.
1st period shots Flyers 22 Wings 2
2nd Flyers 37 Wings 16
Final tally Flyers 46 Wings 37
That's a game they should of had 5-1 instead of 4-3
They are going to need 3 1st period against Detroit efforts tonight to grab 2 at Chicago. - Pelle31Forever
They fired a lot of shots, but the chances were a lot closer |

Fans complain that he should have been traded or should play on the 4th line. - PhillySportsGuy
He is a slightly overpaid NHL top 4 defenseman |

I'm voicing my opinion, which I believe, i'm entitled to do. The last time I checked, that isn't the definition of trolling.
I've watched the games, I've seen his "shots" and i'm far from impressed.
Sorry that you took my comment so personally, I didn't know he was such a close friend of yours. - Corporate_hater

I think it would be downright wrong if Ghost doesnt win the calder. He's among the top producing dmen in the league, 16 goals so far (just about all lead changing/winning goals), like 5 OT goals, will get 40+ points as a rookie dman. How can't he win it. - orangekrush2010
I agree, and I am sure he will be one of the finalists, but I don't think he's had enough press etc in the canadian media to win it. |

When I was watching I thought icing and figured it would end up in the net...I also thought that one at the end was icing and they waived it off so whatever...got the 2 point game we needed |

I think when they didn't convert on the 5 on 3, the momentum swung a bit even though they kept getting shots in that period.
I think it will take a monumental effort tonight. Grabbing a point would be massive. |

Not taking anything away from Howe, but 31 players scored at least 80 points that year... Mark Howe was 30 years old and is a HOF player as well.
I think 6 are on pace to hit that mark this year. Ghost is a rookie.
Granted, Mark Howe is and will be the best Flyers d-man (offensive or otherwise) until someone topples him. - jak521

Who would even be in contention for that award? Trotz? Maybe Sullivan for turning around the Pens. I'm sure the Canadian media will want Babcock for just making it through the season. |

False...the first period domination by the Flyers and third period domination by the Red Wings does not mean the Flyers played really well in the first and didnt in the third. It was a combination of both teams and where the game was at. The game mattered just as much for the Red Wings and they were going to give it all they could to equalize. Could the Flyers have gotten more offense or give up less shots? Sure...but they didnt just say screw it, we've tried enough tonight - YuenglingJagr
I didn't say they said "screw it." Imho, the defensive shell they fell into in the third period to protect the lead is a recipe for disaster in the long haul. |

He does have a chance if they make the playoffs. I just don't see how Barry Trotz doesn't win. The Caps are so far ahead of everyone else and have no weaknesses. |
