Really nice that the org was patient with him isn't it? Prob a 30 goal 60 pt guy. Not too shabby. - Hextall271
24 biscuits on the year so far. he's definitely a 30 guy. maybe not this season, but moving forward he should be. patience.
i admit this season was the line for me with him. he's turned it on since his brother went west. consistently at least, and that's what they need. he was really engaged physically tonight again. and he buried that sweet g pass. they need it to keep winning. |

Wow, seriously impressive comeback win. Well done, Flyers!
Even with the assist (changed to White's goal), still not crazy about Andrew "retreat first" MacDonald.
Also, F U Kane! |

interesting how fortune's have changed for Schenn in a mere half season. Under achieving mutt to must resign. All 4 lines are contributing, which is something they didn't have last year. That 2nd line center isn't a bad two-way player either. |

Just looks like the team has really gelled of late. Combined with good tending we've had all year and you go on a tear. Amazing thing is I keep forgetting Jake isn't even playing! |

Hakstol believes in AMac. Giving him 21 minutes a night. He isn't coming out of the line-up anytime soon. He's an overpaid 3rd pairing dman who can play in this league. I never get upset when a player gets paid, it's not his fault Homer wrote the check. |

How about this.......The Isles have very tight sphincters right now and I can see the flyers passing them with a win on the last game of the season

i'm not looking at anything but the wildcard. that's all we need. but they could advance further. i wouldn't be upset if we claimed a divisional spot in game 82. |

I still find it hilarious that were right in the mix with all these teams that are supposedly in the window to win it all so trading all their youth for the Eric staals and kessels of the league. |

We're about to enter an era of organizational development of prospects really not seen since the '70s. Hakstol appears to be the right coach to spearhead this movement with the gigantic step forwards of Ghost, Schenn, and Coots. Even a guy like Cousins looks to be a serviceable bottom 6 forward, which where he was drafted is an asset to the organization. This is going to be a lot of fun very soon.

Really fascinating to watch the Cousins line out there a lot against the Toews line. The line bent, but didn't break, it was a hell of an effort. |

He's a third pairing dman, IMO. What that means to me is a dman who has some skill, but is limited in other areas. Does he give up the blueline too easily? Yes. However, in the defensive zone he usually is in good position. Has a decent shot from the point and is a little above average passer and mobility.
Considering this team has rolled out guys like the corpse of Kubina, Krajicek, and Parent in the 3rd pairing for a playoff run, AMac isn't the main issue on this blueline right now. The problem right now is there are too many 3rd pair dmen in the top 6 right now, but that is about to change. Of course, this doesn't mean I feel AMac is indispensable, but at this time where the organization right now, he is a bridge.
