It pisses me off that teams are so obviously still tanking (arizona/calgary), the NHL should lessen their chances in the top 3. There is no reason for CGY to be as bad as they are given their current roster.

Last year for the Flames was a blip on reality but this year is a sad excuse for a season for sure. They simply have no goaltending or depth n explains the trade shuffles with us. Russell moving out was to get more prospects.

My answer is a crap load more than what Calgary has done n with less talent up front.
Summary: Flames r embarrassing climbing so far n dropping down so low.

There is a time for winning and a time to be thinking about drafting. Picking 16th and getting pounded in the first round is not something we should be thinking about right now.

Thats why some ppl r fans n others r NHLers.
They earned it n fans don't get it.

To each their own, I'm like Marwood and Thunda, I will always cheer for the win, and if they loose, I'm not going to through a hissy fit. Drafting position will be determined at the end of the season, so no intentional tanking.
And no one in their right mind would think playoffs are a reality

The fickle ppl want what suits them n not the team IMO

I'm with Makita that an 8-6 run is more likely.
Any better for a hot streak requires great goaltendng n thats not likely if both split 50/50. Add to that D would have to kick it up a notch more for all 15 games. Furthermore all the kids must produce more goals. Thats alot needed to happen n all 3 r needed n any 1 of those not happening is highly improbable if not all 3.

That all said we have too much talent to expect a full tank or collapse.
