But I believe the rule is that after the club team is finished playing you can send them even under 20. So...maybe? But I doubt they would even if they could.

What is to be done with Griffin Reinhart?

If I were him, I would be calling a retired defenseman, aim high, i.e. Scott Niedermeyar, and ask if they would be willing to mentor him, for a fee of course.

I wouldn't expect him to get Niedermeyar but keep looking for a good mentor that would be willing to address his weaknesses.

For every player, heck, every person, confidence is what people use to turn the corner. Reinhart can still take that next step but he clearly needs help from someone who has been in his skates.

Might be hard for him to get that mentor but for the off-season, I would make that priority #1, if I were him.

I have high hopes for Brossoit, let's hope his confidence doesn't get shattered while the Oilers try and find their way. Better get him a few stud defenceman to reduce the shots and key opportunities against.

pc declared both nurse and brossoit eligible for ahl playoffs when our season done, but said he decided not to send either leon or connor

ima assume brossoit forced the one way contract. with the way talbots playing/being signed for 3 years/and brossoit gonna get less playing time as a backup; just doesn't make much sense to me to not have him spend another year in the ahl.
its not like you couldn't bring him and up and down even if he was full time in the A.

They're the same guy.
Hendo writes blogs that are safe and generally in line with all the better writers around the Oilers ( Willis, Greggor, Brownlee) opinions so he can fit in because he thinks it will better his ' career' .

He writes the more off the wall stuff under the James Tanner alias ...

He really was

I didn't mind his game against philly even if he did make a few errors, but he was terrible against Cbj.
I want him to be decent as he's such a big body. But his first few steps are as slow as I've seen. That race with saad was almost funny. It was over in one step. As was the the one after his brutal giveaway that resulted in a goal.
