I seriously think you're an Alfie alt with all your poopty trade proposals. - ReveenV2
I'm not an Alfie alt, I'm just suggesting ideas. As for the 1st draft pick, I didn't even suggest a single trade. I'm only suggesting the players that could be considered in a proposal package involving the 1st.
I swear, it's like you guys just can't read or something. It's actually getting to the point where I'm starting to feel sorry for you, not only that, but it is starting to get really annoying.

I read nothing on him today but read that Klefbom was at practice in full gear.....ill take any good news at this point tho no time table for Klefbom either...unless someone else has read something suggesting different - RatedR80
Man what a kick in the nuts. Well if Klefbom is ready to return than I guess we could say nut pick whichever one. |

Hamonic is a better player and gives you better bang for your buck cap wise. If Snow will take Eberle straight up I would do it. - ReveenV2
At this point I would consider Nurse too...not Ebs + Nurse but if Snow wanted a D man coming back I would consider it |

Highly unlikely the Flames would deal Hamilton to us. - Lemmewinks
I can see why; we are technically rivals with em... however, we have made trades with them in the past (Smid trade, Staios, etc). |

Losing Davisdon sucks...our right side is pure garbage right now...would be great to see Klefbom back tho...what a terrible year for injuries

Terrible would be a compliment.
Injuries this year are beyond terribad, hell even way worse than that.
Klefbom, Eberle, MCDAVID, RNH, Pouliot, Davidson, and I bet there are way more than what is just listed here.

Yeah you actually did suggest it in a single trade...
I would do a Fayne + 2nd rounder + 1st pick (If it is within the Top 5) swap for Hamilton (Might need to add in more, but I think he will be worth it, even if it might be a slight overpayment) - EdmHockeyMan
Why would we offer a top five pick plus a 2nd for Hamilton

We won't end up getting 1 game this whole season without a key member of the team being injured.

If they want a d-man with Ebs then we should sell on the potential of David Musil. |

They just got him in the offseason last year he is a key player for them moving forward....they dont move him period at this point...our draft pick probably means nothing to them either seeing as they are just as much in the Matthews race as we are right now...just makes no sense for them to move him

I only threw Nurse out there because it sounds like Snow doesnt want a forward coming back he wants a blueliner

That's if he traded Hamonic during the season. Apparently he may reconsider his asking price in the offseason. |

Our team itself seems to be a band aid this year...McDavid, Nuge, Davidson, Gryba, Klef, Pouliot, Ebs, Yak, Ference (not that it matters there) am I missing anyone?
Edit: Jultz missed time too |

I would and here is why. He is not overhyped at all. He does have some holes in his game, but he is ONLY 22 (However, I would see Chia get more out of the trade, depending on where exactly we are drafting).
He is a 6'6'' defender who can shoot the puck really well, play a great transitional game, play physically, is aggressive, has good defensive coverage, and he is STILL developing.
Not only that, but he is on a contract that will make Calgary look like theives in a few years. Every player has holes and patches that need development, not to mention defenders take much more time to develop.
Most GM's dream of having a hamilton on their team and with good reason. - EdmHockeyMan
I just totally disagree
He's not aggressive or overly physical at all. In fact thsts just the issue as he has such size, but barely makes use of it. He'd be absolutely dominant if he was as physical you say, But he's not. In fact, much of his stronger second half after a pretty brutal start has to do with Brodie beside him. This is no coincidence.
He's average defensively at this stage too.
Yes, he has time to develop, a ton of tools and has quality offensive skills. and if you wanna base his value on that, fair. but as of today he's an average top 4 guy.
Check this; As of today andrej sekera is a better dman. Seriously.
If he was what you suggest, the flames would essentially have 3- #1 defenders right now. But still be in 29th place. What do u think the chances of that are?
You've bought into the hype IMO.
Most gm's dream of having a Hamilton on their team yet one of the two that had him traded him away... |
