So our second pairing is two guys that we picked up off waivers
Our third pairing is a rookie and a guy that was put on waivers but never claimed

Apparently he needed hip surgery back when he was put on IR back in November I believe and I heard the other day his surgery was scheluded for a few weeks from now so they really stretched that out |

Hell I think if you ask most oilers fans they either want to get the first pick and trade it or get the second pick and draft Laine. I'm all for Laine. I'd rather pick second. |

Can't say the team is even close to tanking. They're trying their hardest but keep getting sh!t on with injuries. |

And with the way their front loaded schedule worked out even if they play well down the stretch it'll be hard to gain ground in the standings since everyone were chasing has 3-4 games in hand on us. |

I'd trade it any position.
But yeah, way rather laine.
I'd bet if we won it and didnt get bites for the defender wanted, we'd trade down a spot or two to just get any kind of asset and take laine. |

I agree. I really have no idea what value that pick has.
TSN said during trade deadline that OEL would not be enough to get that pick. I find that very hard to believe. |

Bs comment
How the fuk do they know?
Arizona offers us oel for another draft pick, you better believe Chiarelli considers it.
Maybe he tries to get more value, but he thinks long and hard |

Oh I don't think OEL is ever getting moved. The guy is a top 5 D in the league with a very reasonable cap hit for what he gives the team. I can't imagine they'd give him up for a guy with 0 NHL games.
Edit: it's been reported that Arizona was offered Hamilton for the #3 last year. So maybe for the #1 you'd get a guy like trouba plus another piece? |

Yeah, I knew you were just mentioning their bs. Not your own thoughts. I shoulda been more clear that i was ripping them for their "expert" claims with no basis |

In some cases an ankle sprain is worse than even having your acl torn out. Depending on the situation you can have surgery rehab and come back good as new. A sprain can sometimes stay with you for the rest of you life flaring up. Ask Ryan Whitney about that. |

Won't work. Islander fans are adamant that snow wants and will only accept a trade with a Top pairing RHD on cheap contract back. There is no way snow settles for Auston Matthews. |
