Apparently he needed hip surgery back when he was put on IR back in November I believe and I heard the other day his surgery was scheluded for a few weeks from now so they really stretched that out

In some cases an ankle sprain is worse than even having your acl torn out. Depending on the situation you can have surgery rehab and come back good as new. A sprain can sometimes stay with you for the rest of you life flaring up. Ask Ryan Whitney about that.
