lol I read an article just now and thought of you. I brought up Buff a few times just as my go to guy who I think has a style that would be good for us...haha But an article just came up about him so I thought I`d share (FYI I know you were simplying stating ive brought him up a few times lol so now I`m just having some fun)

No idea the reliability or what not lol just the first things I`ve heard saying the Wings have looked at him at all lol thought it was funny.

My only reservation is that I've never heard many people talk about his defensive game, and we need stout defensive players and puck movers. But I know where that 5.2 could come from. Cough cough Ericsson or Kindl or Smith cough cough.

lool yeah I can say I'm not overly sure about his defensive side either. But yes....we have a lot of dead weight that could be shed to fit that 5.2 mil in. Anyways I doubt it'll happen and idk if id even prefer him over shattenkirk or other guys available lol regardless could be interesting to see what they do since theyd have to give salary back to make any moves...keep hearing loui erikssons name thrown around too. He's been great this year but again he doesnt really offer anything we dont have. IMO the wings need size in the front and back...they need someone who can score in the dirty areas and then someone on defense who can be a physical shut down presence. I think the wings are in an interesting position this year where a couple pieces could make us dangerous.
