Childress rumored to be the Eagles OC.

I feel better with him rather than Shurmur, heavier on the running game aspect.

If the Eagles can land Schwartz or Pettine for DC. They should be better than last year.

No Schwartz he runs the wide 9, that worked so well here a few years ago.

The Flyers' MVP of the first half of the season is - backup goalie Michal Neuvirth.

At least that was the result of an informal survey in the locker room Wednesday before the Flyers reached the season's halfway point by facing Boston.

Many players chose Claude Giroux as the team's MVP. Some selected Steve Mason. One player mentioned rookie Shayne Gostisbehere, even though he has played only 23 games, and another nominated Sean Couturier.

But Neuvirth's name was mentioned more than any other.

Neuvirth is 9-5-2 with a 2.12 goals-against average, and his .934 save percentage was second in the NHL entering Wednesday's action.

but, but, but....i thought neuvirth's play wasn't worthy. right espn douchebuckets?

Agreed. (frank) and No on Schwartz.

As much as we female dog about the Flyers or have female doged about the Flyers, they feel organized and orderly compared to the Eagles. Complete and utter dumpster fire, that front office, right now.

Schwartz is a tad bit better of a coordinator than Juan Castillo though

But I agree in that I'd prefer pettine. He runs hybrid concepts that fit the perssonel better imo. Alonso had his monster rookie year with him

Yeah, seriously. Even the Phillies are looking like their front office is back on track. They got some rave reviews for their recent moves.

And even though Mase has been a bit off, it isn't like he's not second in the NHL, since he joined the Flyers, in es save %

the first player to lift the cup WHEN they eventually win it, should be the (frank)ing goalie. i don't care who it is.
