our matthews odds are terrible. Even if you try hard to tank and lose every game it does not guarantee you anything. Buffalo saw that last season.

Besides, losing is habit forming and you don't want to instill that in your team, difficult to get out. Just look at oilers for proof. TO, sabres....etc.

People here who are thinking this equates a #1 pick or instant future winning have their heads up their asses. People in dream land who have obviously never been on a team playing the game.

Same with Dorsett, with a meaningless fight at the end of the game, thought the first was great, the second just looked like an attempt to show mgmt and the coaches that he is engaged, which he wasn't for the majority of the game.

theres something internal going on within the team.....dressing room or coaching staff rift with players or something.

I didnt like the spear for the lack of passion showed by those 'energy guys' all game, just seemed dumb.
Dorsett going after Rinaldo in the 3rd was for a borderline hit from behind right at the bench (wasnt actually that bad, but I can see why Dorsett did what he did). CBC skipped right over that though

I might be mistaken but I don't believe you can trade a waiver pickup at the TDL if you pick him up that year. It must be done in the off season. COULD be wrong though

What is a ticket going for in Vancouver these days? I spent $29.00 CDN on the Buffalo/Edmonton game yesterday. Eichel is good player and a privilege to watch. Buffalo is an under rated team. Pretty entertaining style of play they use. Should be a good game tonight.
