What is a ticket going for in Vancouver these days? I spent $29.00 CDN on the Buffalo/Edmonton game yesterday. Eichel is good player and a privilege to watch. Buffalo is an under rated team. Pretty entertaining style of play they use. Should be a good game tonight.

Canucks org ticket prices are supposed to be determined by demand, flex pricing or something. Just wondering how it works, if you just showed up and went to the ticket window right after puck drop, what prices are we talking about?

I could see $30 in the upper bowl, maybe some service charges on there too.

You can get lower bowl seats on Stubhub for the game tonight for $24US/ticket...

Sekeres on 1040, if you can get a first for Vrbata, you move him now.

Hopefully this game is entertaining as the last time they played. I have seasons and that was the best game of the year so far. The goal with 16 seconds remaining... Typical Mr. Softie goal. Thanks Millsy for letting the Sabres win that one.

At this point Vrbata would clear waivers.

very likely he'd clear, a team with lots of cap space might take a chance on him, but wouldn't hold my breath.

my woah was more about lower bowl prices, never would have guessed that cheap.

I think a team would rather trade to make cap space, he isn't going on waivers anyway.

our matthews odds are terrible. Even if you try hard to tank and lose every game it does not guarantee you anything. Buffalo saw that last season.

Besides, losing is habit forming and you don't want to instill that in your team, difficult to get out. Just look at oilers for proof. TO, sabres....etc.

People here who are thinking this equates a #1 pick or instant future winning have their heads up their asses. People in dream land who have obviously never been on a team playing the game.

You are right that if a Terrible GM who doesn't know what he is going tanks it leads to bad things in the future. But a proper GM going it can get you Chicago, LA, TB, Pittsburgh before they screwed it up, etc etc etc

theres something internal going on within the team.....dressing room or coaching staff rift with players or something.

With the report on Lidster it reinforces what I've been saying all along....fire him and get a good smart D coach instead. He stinks

- SMBDragon

I said this the other day as well... was hoping the player only meeting would have cleared it up... but so far I guess not....

Someone probably called Edler a pu$$y. He thought about going after the player but then remembered he doesn't fight

While I agree that tanking is always a terrible answer to any problem, the teams you named off ALL had top 3 picks in a draft to which they built their respective teams around. The difference between those 4 teams you listed and every other team who has had a top 3 pick, is that they can draft from rounds 2 and on as well. The way I see it, at this point in the season, and from the effort in the last 3 games, is that barely making the playoffs or barely missing the playoffs gets you a good player at the draft, but not one you can build around. If this gross streak continues, Benning needs to commit to being a seller, swallow his pride and realize this team needs a full rebuild, none of this hybrid crap, and draft a Matthews, Tkachuk, Chychrun. What is the difference between 9th in the West and last in the west? A great draft pick.

What was the report on Lidster?

I posted this earlier, regarding Abbott watching practice and saying Lidster had them running a drill and they weren't performing to his expectations

Abbott's segment starts 34:25

While I agree 100%. The Aquaman is start losing his mind if the building is only half full and there is no playoff revenue in sight.

I don't see Prust spearing Marchand in the nads as a rallying cry??
I'm willing to bet many of his teammates are not proud of the incident.

He isn't going to risk firing Linden at this time. Linden won't fire Benning either.

I'm willing to bet Marchand's teammates were happy to see him get speared, didn't see many of them come to his defense.

What if FA accepts the fact his team needs a rebuild.
