Notice K. Miller and Rask are out and they win. Controversy!
Also hopefully Vitrano is OK. I would hate to see Sucklachev be invisible out there again. |

If you ask me Kevan Miller should have a permanent spot in the press box. In Providence. Dude stinks.
Koko's hurt, should be out another month. Hope Frankie's alright.
But what to do with Loui? Resign him or trade him? |

Quite the beatdown on Bulmer. Why did he even drop his gloves? |

Oh you know, getting banned, being racist, being too optimistic about the Bruins...

Lost in all this talk about an up and down start to the season, a leaky defense, a non existent penalty kill, the inability to play a full 60 minutes etc... is that the Bruins have actually addressed (and quite well it would seem... as of now) their issue of getting a backup goalie they can actually put in and not worry about. Someone Julien can actually trust.
I, for one, was a skeptic at the start of the season, but have been pleasantly surprised by the body of work the Monster has put together so far. The most encouraging part of it all is that when they have played him, he has been put in against some very good teams (NYI, MIN, MON, TB, COL). Good to know Rask won't need to be relied upon as heavily this year and actually has someone who can push him to compete for ice time.
If Tuukka rounds into shape, the D tighten up and the penalty kill can actually, well, kill a penalty (did a good job last night... finally), they won't be just a playoff team, but could make a decent run in the East. |
