His Hand is probably swollen as hell

Hopefully he learns to fight someone of value next time.

Bobby Farnham is a nobody.

Yup. Man I hope Prust in back in for the rematch with NJ in a few weeks...

A truly amazing motivator.
Ask Dale Weise about him.

Hutton definitely looks to have the right stuff to be that offensive guy we need.
- LeftCoaster

hutton-tanev will be agreat 2nd pairing defense in the league, possible a good 1st pair. I'm still not entirely conviced we have anyone in our system that can one day be a true #1 though.

Probably won't be in the lineup

Guys ice time was 6:05, he'll probably be back in the AHL like Prust said.

The 2nd unit looks decent.
The 1st unit should be benched.

My favorite Torts story.

“There was a team meeting in the morning. David Booth showed up five minutes before the meeting was supposed to start. I guess Tortorella didn’t see him or whatever.
The meeting starts, and Tortorella lights into David Booth for being late for the meeting and Booth says, ‘Uh wait a minute, I was here five minutes early,’ and I guess they got into a bit of a shouting match. The players were like ‘What the hell is going on here?’ because they knew Booth was there early.”

Ya Hutton might be close once he settles in with an offensive upside but with Hutton and the way he plays there will always be some defensive liability and we are starting to see the makings of that now...we'll see. He should be a solid #2 pairing guy tho...

Coach is trying to set the tone for a meeting and a selfish player is trying to undermine him

Just like with Edler, if you handle the puck enough, you are going to make some mistakes.

I guess with the dzone coverage, have to remember Hutton was once a forward, follows guys around the zone and up to the point, almost a rover at times. Still learning the pro game.

But yeah, we need more dmen in the system. Whatever happened to Corrado?

We do. Our forward prospects finally look good but we need depth on D looking forward for sure. I would still like to see JB try to pry Pouliot out of PIT...

I think he and Tanev could be a good enough #1 pairing next season. We still need that true #1, but they will be better than Edler-tanev. Hutton has some liability, but i don't think he is necessarily weak when it comes to defense. The holes he has can be filled by Tanev. Now we just need to teach them the fusion technique from DBZ and they will be gods among hockey players.

An outstanding communicator.

I'm pretty sure Edler told him to shut his mouth. I read lips pretty well.

We don't have much we can trade for him. I would like to see drafting Dmen in first 2 rounds(unless we get more picks to get forwards) unless we land Austin Matthews(would still like Chech though)

That's because Edlers not on it to give his famous drop pass to a Columbus forward...

Well...Higgy does have more goals in 2 games than Baertchi has all year so the logic is there...lol

Or WD reads hockeybuzz and know Vantel will be hitting the Naked Grape HARD tonight with Higgy on the 2nd line.

- LordHumungous

I won't complain . Hansen first line + Higgins second line = Austin Mathews. Simple math.

that is hilarious... chuckling at work reading that.. I can just imagine Booth looking around wondering what's going on and Torts lighting him up...
