meh.. they live in edmonton
its really all they got
hard to feel resentment.. i'll happily take pick 4 and not have to live in that hell hole - Dozzer
That pretty much sums it up.
When I get p*ssed that the Leafs never seem to get anything good, I remind myself that I don't live in Edmonton, and at least we get the Jays and Raptors to take our mind off of how bad the Leafs are.

Actually they are very nice, I have not witnessed anything close to rude on all my visits, I will find out more in a week and beyond.
Hate to say it, rudest people in Canada hail from Quebec, hands down from everywhere I have traveled in Canada. Nicest was Newfoundland and Nova Scotia. For the size of Ontario, the people are pretty damn friendly all over. |

Montreal is a great city though, just wish they were more friendly. Compared to other places around the world, they are not so bad.
France and Italy are not so nice most of the time. |

I have also been all over Canada.
We have the same opinion of Newfoundland... nicest people in the country there. Halifax was good also.
The only anti-east aholes I have ever encountered were in Vancouver. My opinion of Edmonton is pretty much invalid as the time I spent there I was pretty young and I was mostly in Fort Saskatchewan.

Actually Italy for me would be scummy cities and great people. It may have helped that my wife speaks fluent Italian. The cities have wonderful art/architecture/history but hot, smelly and dirty.
I like Montreal I just don't like the Habs fans who live in and around Toronto.

I remember going on a VIA train from Toronto-Ottawa and I asked for 3 of the mini wine bottles and the lady was like "I can't serve you more than one at a time." I asked her if she was bringing the cart around 3 times during the trip and she said yes. So I told her that I was going to get 3 somehow and you might as well (frank)ing give it to me now and save time on this charade. |
