Although it was good to rid ourselves of that contract, and get necessary cap space, Dave Nonis got lucky by able to erase his mistake. He took a gamble on Clarkson and lost.
This being the best trade since the Sundin one, is stretching it a bit I think.
No superstar players came back in the trade. And wouldn't it have been nice to have had Nathan Horton like two years ago!
