Your Actually, I was right about the other thing TOO (notice spelling). You are right. You can't judge Rutherford on the roster construction. Every move he made for the most part turned out very well. He didn't have much wiggle room because of Shero's failures.

I'm staring so hard as this for a spelling or grammar mistake.

I have returned from my 2 day ban (my first ever) and am re-adjusting to life outside the "joint". Apparently, someone didn't like a certain post about self help books from a few days back. I thought it was some of my best work and tongue in cheek funny, but there's no accounting for taste.

Anyways, along the lines of the post about sweeping the Bruins a couple years ago in the regular season and then getting swept out of the playoffs by them, this reminded me the Pens went 1-3 vs the Caps in 08-09, and finished like 11 points behind them in the standings before knocking them off in that epic round 2 matchup.
