They're going to lock up Perron this summer.....guaranteed. - madmike71
That wouldn't surprise me. Although i could see him playing out next season banking on him lighting it up with a full season with Sid and therefore driving up his price. Should be interesting to watch none the less... |

Oh my god they scratch Adams and the PK isn't falling apart, in fact it looks even better, I'd take Sill any day over Adams. And speaking of scratching players, why can't we scratch Scuderi for a couple of games just to prove that he's not necessary in any aspect of the game. When they pass to Scuderi at the point they might as well just give the other team the puck because he always dumps it into his corner and there is never any Penguins players down there, he never hangs onto it for a second to look for better options and he definitely never shoots the puck on net. He's a waste of a roster spot on a good day. If Erik Goodbranson is on Floridas third pairing I wonder if they would be open to trading him? He's a monster and exactly what the Pens d-corps is lacking. |

Crosby's man-love for having Kunitz on his wing is ridiculous, no other explanation for MJ moving him back up. |

Look at that, Crosby on the PK...I didn't think that was allowed...thought only PK specialist like Adams were allowed on the PK. |

Your depth chart is pretty poor on defense. Depth isn't what your lineup looks like when everyone is 100% healthy. Depth is what your lineup looks like when there are 5, 6, 7 regulars out. - rangerdanger94
Oh rangerdanger why won't you ever go away? The rangers are an average team with no prospects and you say the penguins are poor on defense? In 2 years I'll take our defense over yours 100 times out of 100. The Rangers have 3 guys that are average or better on d, they have 1 guy as old as the dirt and 2 guys who are interchangeable plugs. And there is NO WAY LA trades Doughty even if Tavaras is involved so that's the dumbest idea anyone has heard lately. Glad you know what you're talking about, or don't have a clue anyways. |

Exactly !!! Plus people complain when MJ doesn't make in game adjustments then they complain when he does. Fla was dominating play at that point. Shake it up

I don't get people ragging on Sid for wanting to play with Kunitz, that is a non issue except to people on hockeybuzz. Perron is better suited for Malkin anyways, he plays more east west than Sid. Leave Perron with Malkin for awhile and see if you have a fit, because we know Hornqvist and Malkin don't mix. |

It's amazing because if they re is any issue with this pens team this season 1) it's not defense and 2) it's not goaltending ( for the fluery haters out their) ... Neithe was that the issue vs the Rangers in last seasons playoffs ... Lack of depth upfront is the key issue |

If their going to play 20 minutes a game I'd rather see it all be at even strength or on the PP, unless the teams looking for offence on the PK

He played a grand total of 28 seconds on the PK. In actuality, that's right around his average per game this year, and it's less than he got per game during his last two years with Bylsma. |

I agree, their defense is too talented and will just get better and better with experience and acclimation. Goaltending is not a problem now and the way Matt Murray is tearing it up in WBS and with Jarry in the pipeline too the future at that position is pretty bright too. Last year the real reason the Rangers won that series is because the Penguins couldn't match the emotion that the Rangers players had from Stlouis' mothers death, had she not died I have no doubt the Rangers would have lost that series in 6 games because they were dead in the water up to that point. |
