Also can't believe Spalling is finishing some of these chances finally, not that he's been bad by any stretch. It just feels like he's had a lot of really nice missed chances.

yeah, because the Hawks have been squeaky clean this game...give me a break.
- Thorny

No one has said anything about that.

But Sid being protected by the league is really becoming a tired act. If it was Downie or basically anyone else, there likely would be no reversal.

I've seen better plays by Sill.

Maybe Sill, but never Sutter.

So you're complaining because the correct call was made? Okay.

Lets not act like Toews wouldn't have done the exact same thing too.

Cant believe Malkin and Crosby on different PP...this coach sometimes
- Thorny

I don't mind it every now and then. Other teams split up there stars on occasion....Datsyuk/Zetterberg, Kane/Toews,

You think sid has been protected by the nhl...u my friend have zero credibility as of right now. This statement could not be anymore incorrect. There is not a single star player in the entire nhl that has to deal with more bs than sid. Id argue that only one other star player received less protection in my entire life of watching nhl hockey. That of course would be mario.

How come the Hawks $10mil players can do the PK but ours can't?

Their 10 mil dollar players typically are never in the convo for mvp or art rosses or richard trophies.....nice dive by toews too there

Love the separation of sid and geno on the pp for a while. ..sends a lil message..and kinda spreads the wealth in terms of scoring on pp1 and pp2. The pp has been awful lately..so cant hurt to tinker and see what happens.

It's interesting because this was the bennett we were all expecting this year... He looks like a different player...

Whatever Craig Adams is or is not one thing is a fact... He s a damn good penalty killer

Idk, if you have Internet access in your basement you should get to emailing Rutherford maybe we could get the plans sent out for casting.

You do realize that the Pens are on pace to get the LEAST amount of PP for a season in franchise history right? Yeah, refs and league sure are out to protect them....but why let facts get in the way right of just making up stuff.

Yeah they did the smart thing to wait a while and see if the same setup could heat up like earlier in the year. But enough time has passed to give the PP a shake up, need to get something figured out before the playoffs.

This is exactly how you coach as a rookie in the nhl...you play around with things..try to learn and establish your stamp on the team. I love seeing tinkering. We all wanted more of it with DB helming the ship. We cant turn around and complain about it now.

Short answer yes. Long answer..not as easy without last change. ..I find too many line changes to match sometimes upsets ur teams flow.
