Yandle for Price?
Habs fans will want Smith included in the deal, Tokarski isn't ready yet IMO to carry an nhl team. |

Price is not going anywhere. Don't think Yandle has that much value anyway. |

And this is why there are no trades. Everyone wants the same ridiculous price for players who aren't close to worth it. |

Actually Richards contract is pretty bad. When he is 33-34, that contract will be impossible to move. |

But he is the kind of character player they need for a long playoff push. |

I like him, but LA has to take DD for him.
But 5.7 M for 3.5 M there is still some space Habs would want. |

True. Everybody locks up their players to long term deals, picks are more valuable, scarcity makes mediocre FA and trade available players over priced and teams don't even have room to add players even if they wanted to pay the crazy prices. |

Pretty much.
I think towards the deadline some teams will have extra space from IR days.
But the offseason is the real time for teams to make moves now. |

I wonder if Richards returns to his 60 point a season form back in the East though? He had some amazing seasons in Philly |
