The Superbowl is for the commercials. Unless you like either of the teams playing in the game, you don't care who wins. You watch the game because you are either in a superbowl pool (I was in 2), or you just like to see the commercials.

I used to think so to until I saw mr west coast aka warren sapp knock a guy 3 times the size of Dion Phaneuf into outerspace.

All sports are fun to play, everyone has a favorite of something. Footballs so much fun to play, play a serious game and get a touch down or make a nice tackle, then you'll get into it. If you pick your nose and scratch your left cheek and eat dorritos and watch the game on TV without playing, it might take you longer to get into it.

Imagine being in Indianapolis and some saying, Did ya see the superbowl , and them saying YEAH DID YOU SEE THAT GODADDY COMMERCIAL, OH WHAT ABOUT THE PANCAKE COMMERCIAL. get real people, I want you to slap the next superbowl commercial watcher for being that pathetic.

I watched the game, it was interesting. But the superbowl is the one time in all of the year that you don't get up for a beer during the commercials.

Besides, I don't even like football. I've played it, and frankly, it sucks as a sport, especially to watch. I'll take a hockey game over football any day of the week.

Maybe south of the boarder but up here in the great white north we get the same stupid Canadian commercials that I can see on the station on any given night. We had one coke commerical that stands out in my memory, only because for the first 5 seconds I thought it was for GTA or something.

I will have to second with Sticky and say I watch the game for the game, and that's about it... commerical time is for using the can and getting a beer!

With the NHL Center Ice package, I almost never have to watch football!  I only have to watch the Superbowl because there isn't any hockey scheduled opposite it.

I did win $15 in a Superbowl pool this year, so maybe I should shut my trap...
