Why do Habs players celebrate every goal like it's an over time playoff winner? - hankthetank
Go away with your crap. It's so tiring already. |

I don't know why Therrien likes Gilberts so much. Personally I find that he sucks. - ShafterBenRaide
Wait a second - there are multiple Gilberts on this team? |

I wasn't. Listened to the 1st period and a half on the radio... but every play looks like they're about to score with these guys so it's hard to tell how they really played. |

They are the worst 8-2-1 team in the history of the NHL.

I know they are 1st in the league, with a record that is enviable.
But this whole "finding ways to win", with the way they are playing, will turn into "finding ways to lose" if they don't turn that poop up real quick. |

listening to the sportsnet broadcast was painful, John Garrett moving into some Jack Edwards territory |

Miller kept it pretty routine throughout most of the game. Other than the odd Gallagher play, Habs stayed to the perimeter |

1-1-1 on the trip is what I called. The Avs and Rangers games they played well. Chicago should be a good barometer on Tues of where they stand. |

Even that home game against Calgary. I'm fine with them coming away .500 on that run |

They seem to be able to pull it off at 5vs5, but what's killing them is their ineffective power play.

We all had a bad feeling about that road trip and honestly, it seems like every time the Habs go on a western trip, it's a completely different team. No major injuries, line experiments, we can wait a week or two before complaining, me thinks.
That said, I'm pretty Bergevin has a few fishing lines right now for trading for some help on defense. (edit : offensive defenseman to be precise) |

absolutely brutal...all perimeter stuff. they also are close to the worst in giving shots up on the PK. Price is hiding a few holes in their game right now. |

I'm not really complaining, because they are winning. But the reality is, the convincing performances are few and far between. Lots of those games could easily be losses if it wasn't for lucky bounces in the 3rd period. Now, they have the luxury to pile up points early on, which is great. But their overall game leaves a lot to be desired. Hope they figure it out, quick. |
