Thing I don't get is, the PP has been one of the worst in the NHL for almost a year. Why not change things up? Why not send Galchenyuk out first?

True.
PK' shots are blocked very often recently. I'd like to see him fake the shot and quickly pass it back to Pax on the wing. The defensive player, sliding to block the shot would be out of the play, creating a 3 on 1 from the side.

I think you gotta get Galchenyuk more involved. He's their most dangerous forward. What other team doesn't use their most dangerous forward on the first wave?
