If you go to the grocery store and buy chicken, and it tastes awful, you think "okay, maybe it was just poopty luck" You go back and buy that same chicken and you still hate it. How many more times do you buy the chicken before you either change grocery stores or try a different product? If you don't like what's on the ice, stop paying them for it. Poor management sucks and we hope it will change but I don't see how a 21 year old only having 19 NHL games under his belt is indicative of poopty management. Gillis is gone, AV is gone, Torts is gone. Aside from Aquilini being gone what more do you want?
Edit: All that being said, I get that you've invested a ton into this team, and it is disappointing, but doesn't watching with a negative outlook from the get-go ruin the experience?

The BBQ chickens at Extra Foods are bullet proof. I think they baste them with 5 minute epoxy. They are like Kevlar wearing doom chickens.... I thought its was just a bad batch.... a month later the same.... I feel like throwing a BBQ chicken through their window but it would probably put someone in a coma.

Yeah, it's not ideal, but is it really that surprising? The only way a guy like Jensen or Shinkaruk was going to make this roster was if they traded someone away. Neither guy showed he was a better option then the guys who are here (on one-way contracts with NTC).

My hope is that Bonino shows us he can be an offensive threat as the 2C, or that WD goes back to Burrows with the Twins so that Vrbata becomes the shooter on the second line with Kassian or Vey or something.

That'a an all star line up!!! The cup is ours!! Four totally dominant scoring lines and three rock solid defensive pairings along with one of the most elite goaltenders this generation has seen.

No youth, and a bunch of NTC's, I know it's early in the year but our line-up better not look like that come January or Feb or "I'm OUT".

Your infusion of youth is Bonino and Vey. I would rather they had sent Sestito down and kept Jensen to play an offensive role but that didn't happen. The good thing is that some of these guys are bound to get hurt, and hopefully when a Jensen or Sinkaruk gets called up to replace them they prove they belong.

I can't say its the sexiest lineup but its more or less what was expected. Neither Shink or Jensen were good enough and Horvat will most likely get a few games in to see if he can play at this level.

As far as youth goes, Vey and Stanton are getting a chance to play significant minutes and unfortunately so is Sbisa.

I can see this team being effective if they can roll all 4 lines and attack wave after wave, the way the Habs have seen success recently. At any rate this team will be better to watch than last year. I do like the forward depth, obviously if Henrik goes down, we are (frank)ed but there are a lot of options on the farm to call up.
