We're not winning the cup this year, with rookies in the line up or no. Might as well just relax and enjoy some non-Torts hockey, otherwise you're probably not going to get much pleasure out of the season.

This. Plus it's not like Jensen and Shinkaruk have been sent down permanently. If they're really ready then they'll produce at around a PPG rate down there and earn a call-up. Look at Linden Vey's AHL stats, there's a reason why he looks like he belongs in the NHL so far.

I was on everyone. Fans nor ownership should not be happy with just making/missing the playoffs. We should be able to expect our top players to have 25 goals + and our second line 18 goals +.

We should expect our team to be exciting and to fight back like men when they are being female dog slapped.

That is not a lot to ask.

My loyalties lie with the names on the the front of the jersey and not on the back. Everyone has a shelf life and it is up to ownership and management to replenish it every year by adding and subtracting at least two players a year to keep things current.

I think the odd pool comment in the main thread will not be detrimental considering how much of the time is spent on here talking about things other than the Canucks. For policy votes and whatnot we should use yahoo, trade negotiations through PM. I don't think that leaves much else to be diluting the main thread

Agreed. Draft weekend I had a hard enough time keeping track of the Draft Thread let alone the main thread. A large portion of posters will disappear if we separate, and I don't think the non-pool posters want that either

Why not take an informal vote, see where people are at. For what it's worth, pool talk doesn't bother me. Carol does good work, it would be a shame for half her audience to be commenting elsewhere.
