It potentially could be one of the best in the league. Its not the 4th line I am worried about.
- thundachunk

I'm hoping that Dorsett's play encourages Hansen to return to his Honey Badger ways.

I hate it when that happens.

Yeah, I'm quite satisfied with the bottom 6 for the first time in a long time. Line 2 is of course the issue.
- Nucker101

I liked your lines, maybe would say
Sedin - Sedin - Vrbata
Kassian - Bonino - Vey
Higgins - Matthias/Horvat - Burrows
Hansen - Richardson - Dorsett

1st line, sedins and a sniper
2nd line, has size/shooter, a 2way player, and a speedster that can pass setting up kassian. Good all round line, with 2 options at centre.
3rd line - moving burrows their makes it more of a threat. And maybe keep the heat on Vey/Kassian to retain their spots.
4th line - nice line.

Once horvat gets time, I can't see matthias sticking on except when size is needed. And sesito slowing lurking up in the stands of course

Not bad.

I don't mind those lines either if WD insists on keeping Vrbata with the Sedins and they play well 5v5. Would have to coach Kassian to have a shoot-first mentality for sure though, he sometimes looks to pass too often IMO.

I think having a couple people that can pepper him with passes would do that. Barge in, get a pass shoot, repeat.

The sedin cycle requires too much patience for him. Let him crash and play like a power forward. He does have bertuzzi qualities they can use.

Beet, corn and asparagus salad is the best joke to play on someone.

He has shown me little evidence that he is a prototypical power forward, and seems to prefer attempting to dangle and pass rather than to crash and bang. I don't know what he weighs right now but at last year's listing of 6'3 210 he's not exactly built like Todd Bertuzzi

Personally, I wanted him to play another season in the AHL last year.

My God, what's with all of the bitterness here? All because a couple of prospects didn't make the team? They just flat out aren't ready. I for one am glad that the coaching staff and management didn't buckle to fan and media pressure to get some preteens into the lineup. I believe the slogan was "Change is coming," not "Change is here."

We're not winning the cup this year, with rookies in the line up or no. Might as well just relax and enjoy some non-Torts hockey, otherwise you're probably not going to get much pleasure out of the season.

I was hoping Jensen would make the team since I have him in my pool. All things considered, its better if he plays in the AHL. I want this organization to properly develop the current crop of prospects.
