Well with the new ownership and higher payroll they can add the vets they needed to make it the right mix. However it still takes time and some patience and luck as well. Just let them get through November and take it from there. The season hopefully builds on itself.

But just when your ready to sing praises he reminds you he is young (bad turnovers / on ice brain farts). Given top 4 minutes he might thrive, all in all you got better on the ice today, congrats.

thats fair...the guy is ONLY 23 years old. plenty of time for him to mature and learn the game.

Let's be honest here, I would love to see Johnny B sign on here for a few years with the thought that he will do for us, what Zdeno Chara did in Boston; be the leader on the blue line and mentor the young defense. He is a prime example of a guy who developed his game like Girardi and other solid defensemen.

Let's not be disillusioned here and think a team on paper is the same as a team that performs on the ice.
