Some in the organization want him while others scoff. If there is that little consensus among the decision makers, I doubt the Flyers would be willing to pay a high price for him. Since Winnipeg's prices are high, I don't think anything comes of it.

There really isn't. The team is as is. When Pronger comes off the cap, they'll be snug up against the cap with little wiggle room.

Unless they can snag Hayes (and they're at best a dark horse on that), the team is what it is. Maybe Laughton makes it. That's about it.

Unless of course MacTavish has one too many and starts drunk calling about Vinny, but my guess is no.

Ek should be focusing on Hayes. It's the most interesting thing happening right now, given that it's almost a given he's going to Aug 15th.
