How many before that? I am a Flyers fan I have seen a lot less Flyer rumours than usual. There use to be a flyers rumour at least once a day. Now Othe than the one 2 days ago not much. |

Buff could help the flyers and is a good player but with berube really pushing off season preparation and making sure players come to camp in spectacular shape I don't see how buff fits in to that. I really thin if Philly is talking to peg it is only about Kane. Buff would cost way too much and wouldn't really change the dynamic of the F core in Philly. |

It has nothing to do with spending money. Bryz is a good goalie, Flyers overpaid for him out of desperation after Leighton, Bob and Boucher played duck duck goose in the playoffs. Bryz would have done well in Philly if he had a team in front of him. Flyers ended up scoring Mason for nothing and the Cap went down so Bryz and Briere were cut from the team. As for Lecavalier I have little issue with him. I think he is a good player when healthy but we did not need another Center and we definitely didn't need him for 4 years.
The Flyers just need to start planning for the future, not just for the upcoming season. |
