I would counter offer; it would be something like Shaw, Ben Smith, 2014 1st and 2nd and if CHI wanted to throw in a salary dump the only one I'd accept would be Bickell

Jeremy Morin, Johny Oduya, Mark McNeill, the Rights to Kevin Hayes, and the #27 overall pick to Vancouver

I think its reasonable. Morin and Oduya play this year, Hayes and McNeill give propects for the future and the Canucks move up 9 spots in the draft.

No - I think the Nucks would be looking for more of a higher-end prospect than any of what you're suggesting. Teravainen + and a first or it won't happen IMO.

The deal is critical for the team; the prairie boys know it and it needs to be the right one. Chicago & Anaheim don’t want to part with assets and are lowballing. If they don’t get the right pieces back he plays in Vancouver next year. It’s that simple.

but i was just curious what fans would take if it was up to y'all... Cuz i think there are some deals that can be made that are fair to both sides and those options arent being explored cuz neither team wants to get "ripped off in the end"

2 seasons ago Markstrom would never have been traded out of Fla things changed fast. Product of the program. He will have tremendous improvements under Rollie's tutelage and be back to potential in no time.
