I don't. I was responding because I have people who are casual observers in my life to address me on this in the elevator or kitchen for a little sports chat and this is the kind of thing I come up with instead of punching them in the face, which would be bad for my career. - bodiva88

Same here. Happens at least once a day.
Also, happens whenever 2Real feels the need to grace us with his hate for everything Flyers-related. |

Fun fact: Water Polo (and Squash) are the two sports the school I work at is known best for. Apparently we've produced some olympic caliber athletes in both of those sports. Don't ask about our Ice Hockey team. - ThirdEye

Pisani followed his 2006 playoff performance with a 28-point season in 2006–07, but the Oilers failed to qualify for the post-season. Prior to the start of the 2007–08 season, he was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, sidelining him for the first 26 games of the campaign.[9] He returned to the Oilers lineup on December 2, 2007, and was nominated for the Bill Masterton Trophy – given for perseverance and dedication to hockey – at the end of the season.[10][11] The award was subsequently given to Jason Blake of the Toronto Maple Leafs who, at the start of the season in October, had been diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia, but still managed to play all 82 games.[12] |

I didn't say Carter sucked. I'm saying Briere was the more important player.
When it comes to defensive forwards you couldn't set the bar much lower than Briere. Carter was never a back checking demon either. He could skate back into plays but had no idea what to do when he got there. - mayorofangrytown
I think he deserves a little more credit than that. His problems here stemmed from his inability to win board battles and grind things out on a more consistent basis. |

That's why we traded him for Luke Schenn. |

the -5 in 2010 is what bugs me. 7 points in 12 games. niemi's face.
it is what it is. he's matured, he's healthy, and he's been part of a very good team, as a complimentary piece, free from drama for 3 years. he has the benefit of winning once, going to the ecf the next year, and now another shot. it's remarkable that he and richards are both a part of the 2 0-3 comebacks. |
