I am always against teams having to play Philly in the playoffs. Their fans are among the worst in the country, last night being another example. My favorite humorous (non physical violence) incident might be the Montreal reporter from 2010 whose car got destroyed after a game there for having a Canadian license plate. |

If I'm a Penguins fan, I'm hoping it's the Rangers, simply for the mental aspect alone. Things tend to just get outright stupid when the Penguins play Philly, and that's a scary thing. |

Either team will be tough.
However, I would want the Rangers for a couple of reasons and before the Ranger fans whine about disrespect it's all about the matchups. The Flyers record at CEC is terrific while the Rangers isn't. Also the Flyers PP has dominated the Pens for a while now. With the Penguins PK stinking for the last few months I can't see them improving all of the sudden against them. I'm still worried about the Flyers getting under the skin of the Penguins. They can do it like no other team. Yes, the Penguins did a good job of controlling their emotions against the Jackets but doing it against a bitter rival is a different story. |

Pointing out the simple fact, that city is unsafe for opposing team's fans to go to. Its not the only one, but its one of the worst. If the fans were just extremely rude and annoying towards opposing fans, then this wouldn't be an issue... but there is more than one incident every season. |

I guess most Pens fans just want to hope and prey we dodge the flyers forever. Its time for Pittsburgh to take back over the rivalry. |

Seriously?
Sutter, OK. It didn't look all that bad. But Vitale looked like he was down a ligament or two after that hit. Very nice suprise to see him back. |

I feel like I should care who the Penguins play, but I really don't.
I'm just looking forward to three freakin' Game 7's tonight. After I get my kids to bed, I'm not leaving my couch. I really wish that they would have started the Minny/Colorado game like a half hour earlier. |

Watching both the Flyers and Rangers I notice a lot more room in the neutral zone. It is almost as if the ice is wider. Hopefully, this holds true for whichever team the Pens play. The CBJs really seemed to take away a lot of space on the ice.
Also here is hoping for six overtimes.. |

I don't care. But if we play the Flyers and we can't mantain our composure we dont deserve to win anyway. Penguins should have learned by now how to control their emotions.
So bring on whoever wins today. |

Sports and alcohol... just more reasons for people to be idiots.
I will never understand why people are compelled to subject themselves to arrest over a sporting event. |

I get defending your hometown, but lets try to not be completely ignorant. Your town is in the top 5 for most violent incidents for pro sports teams in the US. You can choose to accept it, or pretend everywhere else is just as bad. Doesn't change what is, and you both look silly debating it. |
