Higgins has been ice cold every single late season we've had him. Invisible in the playoffs as well.

Anyone with odds on where we will pick?

Looking for the silver lining...

edit: nice to see Corrado getting some time up, these last three games should be used to assess talent in the system.

Yeah, at first I thought it was just him cooling off at the wrong time, but it's becoming a worrisome trend. He's one of the guys I'd trade for a pick/prospect and then replace him with a free agent. You gain a pick/prospect to help organizational depth without a significant blow to the current roster.

Nice to see that Corrado will play all 3 of the final games along with Markstrom. As a #TankNation supporter the only thing that scares me is that Markstrom is talented enough to stand on his head and steal a game, he's a freak in terms of size and flexibility. If he doesn't give up that weak goal that he's apparently prone to every game then he can definitely be good enough to earn this team some points. Might as give Mike Gillis' final signing, Mike Zalewski the last couple of games to play as well.

Any of these guys showing good may increase their trade value...

I'm very interested to see what kind of effort the team can manage against a very good Colorado squad tonight, and how Mr. Linden is received by the fans.

Linden will be received like this:

Hopefully the canucks play like this:

If he doesn't have the stamina for a full season then it might be best to trade him at the TDL after he's shown some worth in the first half of the season and just before his production drops off. I've gotta say I've never been a Higgins fan past 3rd line duties and he's played a ton in our top 6 this season.

Man the standings are tight for non-playoff teams, I wish the Nucks would sign Cloutier to a 3 day contract just so we don't move up in the standings. A couple of center ice beauties would be perfect.

2011/12 he had a better late season than the start, March was his best month.

Bottom line - a 3rd line player (good one) miscast into a top six player, he's just not that.

Time for him to move on so we can slip some younger players into the line-up.

Torts has misused some of the assets he was given to work with like Garrison. Although, he has made sestito a better player...

Really hope we're not planning on rolling out Jensen on the top line next year. Apart from a nice couple of games he's nowhere near convinced me that he should even be a 2nd line winger but I'd give him a shot there first.

Piling on the players with lies just cuz of this season is ridiculous. Torts has misused the players and this system has sucked the life blood out of the team's offense.

Package a few of those guys together and you might have something of substance.

Booth Kesler Kassian
Daniel Matthias Higgins
Hansen Richardson Sestito

Edler Hamhuis
Garrison Bieksa
Stanton Tanev

no point in speculating unless someone comes in and makes some trades. We should see what daniel can do on the third line before letting him move up the order. keep the sedins split up for awhile. I think Daniel is holding Hank back (i know i've said it before)...
