Yeah, at first I thought it was just him cooling off at the wrong time, but it's becoming a worrisome trend. He's one of the guys I'd trade for a pick/prospect and then replace him with a free agent. You gain a pick/prospect to help organizational depth without a significant blow to the current roster.
Nice to see that Corrado will play all 3 of the final games along with Markstrom. As a #TankNation supporter the only thing that scares me is that Markstrom is talented enough to stand on his head and steal a game, he's a freak in terms of size and flexibility. If he doesn't give up that weak goal that he's apparently prone to every game then he can definitely be good enough to earn this team some points. Might as give Mike Gillis' final signing, Mike Zalewski the last couple of games to play as well. - Nucker101
This makes me nervous too!! Hopefully Rollie doesn't quite have him up to his standard yet...

Someone fill me in, Who's Benning? - vancity787
"Following his playing career, he served an amateur scout for the Anaheim Ducks (1993–94) and then joined the Buffalo Sabres as a scout (1994–98) and as Director of Amateur Scouting (1998–2004). In the summer of the 2006, he became the assistant GM of the Boston Bruins. His name was included on the Stanley Cup for the 1st time with the Boston Bruins in 2011." |

What would it take?
What do you think they are worth that another team would consider? PK ? If I was LA, I wouldn't trade Doughty. What D-man could your reasonably see coming back for one of the kids? - hillbillydeluxe
Tough to say
The big names like doughty, Weber etc are pretty much untouchable I'd guess. Even for hall.
Maybe a package of ebs + etc. But I still dont see those franchise dmen as realistic targets.
Even the younger guys like oel or mcdonagh are prob out of the question.
Its a tough spot for mact, cause are secondary types worth it for eberle? Are we much better?
I think he'll be goin after a secondary level, true #2 etc for our lottery pick
Edler and kassian

Canuck fans haven shut up about dealing edler. Does this mean he's terrible and no one wants him?
Does his rule of thumb apply in that situation as well? - hugefemale dog77

I don't completely get it.
Like kassian is much bigger and stronger than rnh?
Yes. Yes he is
We know this doesn't equate to value though, right? - hugefemale dog77
Just trying to make a funny... Weak, I know.
I'm sad to see that Ryan Smyth is hanging'm up... He's only 6 pp goals away from number one on the Oiler all-time list. |

Agreed
Hes actually had a decent season. Thought he was done after last year when he really struggled later on, but I think there's a possibility he's back.
Either way, bleeds oiler blue and got my respect. I mean what kind of dude asks for a trade from la to edm?
Edit; just heard that it's a done deal. He's retiring. My bad.

Captain Canada
Have you ever eaten at Sloppy Hoggs Roed Hus in Edm?? It's awesome. If you haven't, be sure to try the Roed Hus Road Kill... It's decadent. |

Lots of empty seats - VANTEL
Strange cause the Avs would be a fun team to watch; could get ugly with their youth skill and speed if the Nucks are passive. |

Weak Linden introduction as well... might as well have subliminally flashed **renew your season tickets** while running the video. |
