A big problem they have is that they've already given these guys huge contracts. They really should move one of them for some D help, and draft another forward that will be on an entry level deal.

it was putrid. but i'm not that surprised. Chicago-Montreal is a tough B2B situation. that's not a puddle jump. that's a 2.5 hour flight with a 1-hour time change. factor in the team has very little to play for and they're playing the Islanders, they weren't gonna be able to get their Richard up for this one. that said, you shouldn't need your Richard to be up to beat the Islanders. that was an AHL team.

and Murray last night, if anything, secured his spot in the top 6. he goes out for the game, Montreal surrenders 2 goals on the PK.
