Bulldogs have still 3 games left to play...looks like they don't intend to put him on the ice Saturday, so they probably think it's better for him to play those three games and call him back up after the AHL season is done
They always bring a few guys with the team for the playoffs, I expect they will call up Beaulieu and Pateryn, and guys like Leblanc, Dumont, and Thomas up front.

A big problem they have is that they've already given these guys huge contracts. They really should move one of them for some D help, and draft another forward that will be on an entry level deal. |

it was putrid. but i'm not that surprised. Chicago-Montreal is a tough B2B situation. that's not a puddle jump. that's a 2.5 hour flight with a 1-hour time change. factor in the team has very little to play for and they're playing the Islanders, they weren't gonna be able to get their Richard up for this one. that said, you shouldn't need your Richard to be up to beat the Islanders. that was an AHL team.
and Murray last night, if anything, secured his spot in the top 6. he goes out for the game, Montreal surrenders 2 goals on the PK. |
