As many as four players coming to Colorado? Please no more bottom pairing defensemen...

Nothing we take from Colorado this time around could ever match the bag of peenies they gave us for Roy. Unless it's Duchene and Landeskog, in which case they might as well lynch Greg Sherman in the middle of downtown Denver.

I honestly don't see how the two teams could swing a deal of this magnitude, so not to worry.

Yup, you figured it out. Avs are for sure trading Duchene and Gabe to MTL

2 for 4 trade off..........that doesn't sound very good.

My guess for players from avs could be Mcginn, PA, Barrie, Elliot, Wilson, Mitchell, maybe some prospects, I would doubt stastny or RoR would be there though.

If they each would free up another move however that makes it even more confusing.

My initial thought was Gorges to Colorado for Johnson but it would change the Habs locker room tremendously as Gorges is the most vocal leader. None the less it's a move that may help both sides and fairly equal in cap hit.

I know he was a 1st overall pick but by most accounts he has been a humongous disappointment. I mean how many years without being a plus player.

But like I said, I don;t see these teams trading because chemistry is everyhting and right now both teams are rolling and a locker room loss could have a bigger impact.

I do know tha MTL has been high on O'reilly and Talbot for a while....but again

Not this year though, hes been rock solid as a minute munching shut down Dman. Not focusing too much on offense, he just has been amazing logging tough minutes against other teams top lines and being a thorn in their side
