Not this year though, hes been rock solid as a minute munching shut down Dman. Not focusing too much on offense, he just has been amazing logging tough minutes against other teams top lines and being a thorn in their side

For sure, he's played extremely solid and is a reason why the Avs are where they are. Hard to live up to expectations of your draft position though

My guess for players from avs could be Mcginn, PA, Barrie, Elliot, Wilson, Mitchell, maybe some prospects, I would doubt stastny or RoR would be there though.

If they each would free up another move however that makes it even more confusing.

Ya it's all about the Rangers right now.

I know he was a 1st overall pick but by most accounts he has been a humongous disappointment. I mean how many years without being a plus player.

But like I said, I don;t see these teams trading because chemistry is everyhting and right now both teams are rolling and a locker room loss could have a bigger impact.

I do know tha MTL has been high on O'reilly and Talbot for a while....but again

I'd disagree. He was the only good dman on the Avs ever since we traded for him and +/- is more of a team stat. Also no Dman would have scored under Sacco. He is still only 25 and signed to an awesome contract.

If EJ or RoR's name were to be a part of this deal I would have to imagine PK's name would be involved. Georges is too old, we wouldnt need a center either.

Mcginn would give you guys some size. But I honestly have no idea what the trade would be for.

I would guess it wouldn't involve too many big names but more just some mid level players to help Roy get they make up of the team the way he likes it.

Habs don't really need a center right now. We have Plekanec, Eller, Desharnais and then briere, Galchenyuk who should be playing center but are playing wing. So getting a $6 million + Statsny makes absolutely no sense.

If so they would have to wait until Feb due to the offer sheet, and EK said it was earlier than that so I think we can at least rule that out.

Unless the Blues don't trust Cole, no way they're in on Del Zotto, more likely Rangers interested in someone and Blues said no to Del Zotto.

No I agree with all of that, I honestly have no idea what the hell it could be, weird rumor. All I know from avs end is that Sakic has been looking for a Dman and has been shopping Mcginn. A deal could have started from there and grown into what ever this is.
