Hall will always have turnovers, I'm not too worried about him. My worry really is Eberle at this point, he has been getting rocked and looking a bit more timid. As of right now I'd say Yak getting into the top 6 will be at his expense. Never thought I'd say that.
As for your comments on defense. I don't know that we can expect that physical aspect from some of these guys. It could spell the end for a guy like Petry if he doesn't find it. Ference, same issue as N.Schultz last year. Playing with a (frank)ing loose cannon kid. J.Schultz needs to be on the bottom pairing until he figures out how to play defense. He really needs the Yak treatment.
I'm still going to give it some time before blasting away at the team as a whole, one issue is guys not all playing their best in the same game. Rather have a real stinker where we lose 10-0 if it meant for the next bunch of games all the guys are on the same page. - Lahey
1000% agreed with that first paragraph.
Well said.
No worries about hall.
Huge concerns over ebs
Yaks hasnt earned his minutes. And i really dont think that's the problem anyway.
Kid's a self starter for the most part |

Yeah man - I started to get worried at the price too, it could get worse in his head before it gets better. |

He's still slick with the puck in spots, but its much too few and far between right now.
He really is taking a beating out there and looks much more apprehensive.
I dunno. I dont like it |

If we dont get these kids back some confidence- we are doomed... Thus far this season:
Hall- turnovers
Eberle- invisble
Nuge- injured til now
Yak- underutilized and lost at times
JSchultz-lost in own zone and turnovers
Gags- injured
Smyth- play him but not every night- let him teach others to go to the net during practices... use
Hemsky-best fwd to date
Perron- tonnes of energy-need more physicality
Ference- out of position countless times
Petry/Smid- caught pinching too many times lately- need to be more physical
Belov- needs to shoot more and get more adjusted to the game
NSchultz- get physical -
Dubnyk- dont be such a (frank)en sieve
Labarbara- not sure why we picked this guy up but he is 1 for 1 in the 'W' column where it counts
Gordon/Arco- never expected much but thus far they have exceeded and surprised many
4th Line- far from the worst line on this team thus far - saskoil21
I'm not sure I agree with all of these assessments and some of the other stuff some are saying.
I think a lot of this poop is bandwagon. you hear one thing about someone and they're labeled.
They played a good game last night. Habs capitalized on a couple opportunities. We couldn't buy one. I saw a lot of improvement from a lot of guys.
I actually have a feeling we will trounce the Leafs on Saturday. The Leafs have been winning despite being outplayed. It wont continue. |

Agreed about mtl. We couldnt buy one and they capitalized.
As far as toronto, theyre a pretty good hockey team. Well rounded, physical, scoring, good goaltending.
Better than us this far without question imo.
And I dont think theyve been lucky either.
Theyre certainly beatable, but i dont take a win over them any lighter than pits or washington. |

Wow- sorry to say but you will have a rude awakening come Saturday as it stands with this Oiler team... the team that could not beat a smallish Montreal team playing back to back with their backup goalie in net and got pushed around like junior highschool students... |

I have watched every game except one... and really I dont think my assessments are that off... unless I need glasses which could be the case... |

Yeah maybe he's banged up a bit too.
This team won't be successful until they all receive hockey's version of Tommy John surgery. |
