are you talking about Marcobello playing with hall and eberle while at OKC?because when the season started the only centers before Nuge return was Marcobello and Gordon,so no other options for Eakins to use Marcobello or Gordon,I'm not saying Marcobello is a bad player just saying He doesn't have the skills to be a top 2 center.

he didn't earn minutes over either of eberle or hemsky. who were both better.

you said the habs didn't need 3 first overalls on their first line to be successful.
the oilers didn't have that either. in fact they really only had 1 on each of the top 3 lines for most of the night.

mybe they don't have the right mix of vets. not really sure. they certainly need some more quality at different positions. but so do alot of teams.
the habs were FAR from from outplaying the oilers tonight. the oilers weren't able to bury some extremely quality chances, the habs were fairly solid and won. but it wasn't egregious one way or another.

I laugh at some of the polls I see though. Last year Yak was ranked clearly the best, and the Oilers made the right choice in taking him... This year so far Gally is clearly the best, and the Oilers are idiots for not taking him. And it'll go back and forth like that over and over I'm sure. Both players should have very good NHL careers, let's just go with that.

Yeah, on second thought, he probably shoulda sprawled to block off the pass across, but it wasn't a dumb idea to do what he did as Gallagher is usually more of a shooter.

His line is on fire, keep him in your line up for a while. Galchenyuk and Gallagher have great chemistry..they are the only line producing so far this season for MTL.
