not a fukin ounce of puck luck for this team.
and ive seen this before from yakupov. he went stretches last year, where he just looked confused, ineffective and struggled to figure out how to maximize his skillset - hugefemale dog77
He needs better line-mates no way He can't do much playing with Gordon and Smyth,He gets frustrated and start trying to do everything on his own and is when he gets in to trouble. |

don't think it was intentional, but coming from a player that had his face smacked hard last season on the ice...kind of surprising. things happen fast on the ice. - deks1
Yeah, Eller's face right after the crosscheck was "ah (frank)". |

Habs have only one line scoring so far this year, the EGG line. Everyone else sucks offensively. - Symba007
mtl played a solid game. by no means outplayed the oilers, but either way, a wins a win.

don't be pleased with anything if the Oilers don't get the W. - AlEx_OiL
I'm sorry if I offend you with this, but that is the dumbest thing I've heard in a while. To PROPERLY (key word here) evaluate a team, one needs to watch for the details BEYOND the score. They certainly shouldn't be content with the results they had, but they certainly shouldn't be ashamed the way they were after the Nucks game. |

Eakins REALLY disagrees with you on Arco. There's a reason he was playing with Hall and Eberle. He played a great game. What more do you want (besides him scoring, of course)? - MaximumBone
Yes the reason was because there was not other Option. |

yes better linemates for surely help. but he hasn't deserved those top 6 mins thus far this year.
he's been pretty mediocre. and was downright choked off tonight |

He have started the year playing with Gordon(btw no complaining about Gordon)and Gordon is not the type of center Yakupov needs. |

So what? They outchanced them, but just couldn't convert. The PP wasn't very good tonight so that's something they need to work on (primarily SHOOTING THE DAMN PUCK). Sometimes, these nights happen. None of the goals were caused by particularly egregious mistakes save for the Ference pinch, but even that one he was technically making the "right" play. |

At least we can all take solace in the fact that the Canucks are ALSO losing |

there's only so many spots available.
he didn't earn minutes over either of eberle or hemsky. who were both better.
I dunno man, no need for excuses really. yaks will put it together again im sure. but as I said, we've seen this invisiblity and ineffectiveness from him before |

are you talking about Marcobello playing with hall and eberle while at OKC?because when the season started the only centers before Nuge return was Marcobello and Gordon,so no other options for Eakins to use Marcobello or Gordon,I'm not saying Marcobello is a bad player just saying He doesn't have the skills to be a top 2 center. |
