Not much from struggling kid Yakupov again. I'd say he's in danger of sitting if Joensuu's back clears up soon.

From about 2 minutes after the habs 2nd goal we've really driven the play.

Habs have let off the gas a bit.. oilers played a decent game but the habs have 3 solid lines and our d seems a little more composed.

If only we could double pull the goalie.

What can u do when half the building is habs fans? I think the team should feel bad losing to a team that played 24hrs ealier. Also the habs didn't need 3 first over all picks to show some skillonthe first line...

It was a fun game to watch and a strong effort by the boys. The Oil controlled play most of the game and were able to play solid D. I'm pleased with the game; just not the result.

Conclusion is don't put Senior Smyth or Dubnyk,both have that bad energy around the team,after saturday Oilers are going to be 1-4,Oilers need Gagner back badly,as good Arcobello is on face off He's not bringing any other skills to complement Perron or Hemsky,(Yakupov should be on that second line).

and ive seen this before from yakupov. he went stretches last year,where he just looked confused, ineffective and struggled to figure out how to maximize his skillset

Yeah and when push came to shove MTL defenders were there many times at the last second. Pretty solid contain game by them too.

Eakins REALLY disagrees with you on Arco. There's a reason he was playing with Hall and Eberle. He played a great game. What more do you want (besides him scoring, of course)?

don't think it was intentional, but coming from a player that had his face smacked hard last season on the ice...kind of surprising. things happen fast on the ice.

Habs have only one line scoring so far this year, the EGG line. Everyone else sucks offensively.
