Bringing Nill into the fold was the best thing that could have happened to the Stars. The future looks bright. |

Adam, what is your opinion of John Klingberg. I know injuries have slowed his development, but he seemed to make a very positive impression at camp this year and in the game against the Blues. He will play at Frolunda this year and they have targeted him as a 1st pairing offensive defenseman. |

If you want to keep whoring yourself out for hits, try doing top 10 players lists (playmakers, powerforwards, shutdown d...) |

Don't know too much about him other than he's really fast and really aggressive in the offensive zone. |

I'm guessing you saw the post on Klinberg on the dallasnews site yesterday? From that article I got the sense that he may not quite be top pair. A late round gem for sure, but I'm guessing a 3-4, 2nd pp guy.
Nice blog Adam, nice to see an article from an outsiders point of view. |

I did see the article plus other comments made at the practice sessions. I meant 1st pairing this year at Frolunda and I agree his ceiling is 2nd pairing puck mover for Stars. I was curious because Adam had not included him in his prospects. |

I would have went
Nichuskin
Dillon (49 gp )
Oleksiak
Chiasson
Ritchie
Faksa
Campbell
Nemeth
Richardinson
Klingberg
Nichuskin is a beast
Klingberg has really impressed
Faksa didn't have a good year, but I've been really impressed with his camp and preseason so far

I'm with you, still 2nd pair would be nice for a late round pick. Shame we don't have Zubie coaching him.

Really excited about Nichuskin; and Dillon was a beast last year.
I like some of our other prospects but really it's Nichuskin, the Big Rig, and the others.

I have a second hand story about Scott Glennie dropping $7000 at a Boston pizza with his buddies in Winnipeg.

Adam French: Top-10 Prospects : Stars (1-10) - AdamFrench
Desrosiers could very well be the steal of the draft for the Stars. He was the best goalie prospect of this class and he has that winner attitude. I would have taken him over Fuccale, Comrie and Jarry (who might be the most overrated of this class).
The kid is fantastic 5-holes and has great mobility. Add to that is great lateral movements and you have a very talented goalie prospect. |
