No where there does it say they would break the lease, The Isles are there till 15, the arena wouldn't start construction till then anyhow.. then what 3 years of building.. that's 18.. the lease is till 21

been asked... Im in NC... Im here for the foreseeable future... It wouldn't work.

fun day to be a sound tiger season ticket holder...I contacted them again today and here is what they said

"Our agreement with the City of Bridgeport ends on August 31st, 2020. We have seven years remaining on this deal. The Sound Tigers have an agreement to play in Webster Bank Arena until then and plan on doing so until we hear otherwise from our owner. There is no agreement in place between the Islanders organization and the Ratner Group or Barclays Center. The Sound Tigers love being in Bridgeport and absolutely plan on spending at least the next seven AHL seasons here."

now do I believe this...no not really..the only thing I can tell you is that wang IS making money here....so I dunno...I fully expect the sound tigers to be in long island when the NVMC is done

the best part of watching Gillis and Torts work together this season will be having a front row seat to the drama living here in Vancouver. I'm stoked the Isles will come to town this year and will be there for that, but likely won't bother actually going to another game. NHL center ice has everything I want to see with none of the idiots sitting next to me.

as an interesting note, almost every game was in HD last year except for every single gd Isles home telecast, in standard def and terrible quality.

Every Isles road game that was telecast by their opponent was in crystal clear HD. WTF is up with that bullpoop? It's been like this for 4 years, doesn't MSG have the money to broadcast in HD?
