Guess management s milking a Habs-Sens match-up. Normally you can get tix in the $25-30 range but they start at $71 for round 1. Wow.

Anyone coming to Montreal for a game?

I'm SHOCKED that playoff game tickets are higher priced than regular season games!!!

When did this happen? Has it happened anywhere else in the past?

Smartass !!!!

higher is one thing, percentage of increase is another. $71 for standing. $122 for upper bowl. Tickets in Ottawa now more than in Montreal. Bottom end of upper bowl in Montreal is $30 less per game than hgher end of upper bowl in Ottawa.

Ottawa started charging more for certain (big demand) teams a few years back, because fans of those visiting teams, local or from out of town, were willing to pony up the dough.

I did agree with that strategy at the time, and still do not.............but I'm not the owner of the team, so it's his call eh?

Meh ottawa want to develop its own buzz for its team ,not have every other city coming on and calling a home game .So if you want to come to ottawa and cheer against them you need to pay
