I don't know dude, you always hear about players winning or getting to a Stanley Cup final early in their career and then they just expect to get back every year then all of a sudden 10 years goes by and that objective is never achieved.
Maybe Kaner knows or realizes how hard it is to win the Cup and that the Hawks are in the window to win right now and he looks obsessed with winning every night , his back checking has been better that ever and every night he does something genius on offense.
I think he has grown up and we won't be seeing him on deadspin anytime soon. - mrpaulish
As Kane should be allowed to be a 21 year old goof like most of us would he should also be allowed to grow up and mature like most of us did...... |

True but we've all seen superior athletes reach the top of the mountain early then fall off into the wayside.
Last year when Kane was acting a fool I would of loved to send him to Colombus for Nash ... Thank God that didn't happen. Kane is the MVP of the NHL this year, hands down. |

Good night boys.
Not sure Hawks and Montreal swap roster guys
Higher probability Buffalo and the Hawks deal .. Ott , Hecht, for AHLers and Or picks. Buffalo might blow it up in a big way. |

I always knew Kane was one of the elite talents in the game. I also was one of the people advocating a trade. Have to admit he really stepped up this year. But, I wanted to trade him for a few young and tough forwards to add depth to our top 9. The trade I always cite is something like Philly got for Richards: Simmonds and Schenn. |

The league MVP to this point is Crosby. |

SB's statements in the paper recently speaks otherwise, but that may be a smoke screen. We all know the 'Hawks need a deeper and more physical playoff team. Here's hoping that in 2 weeks we'll see one at 1901 W. Madison. |
