They need to tighten up defensively and work on special teams as both their power play and penalty kill leave much to be desired, but the huge bright spot has been their play 5-on-5


Toronto's being decisively out-shot at even-strength, and after score effect adjustments, they're about 26th in the league in even-strength efficiency.

They've been great at stopping a lot of shots, I think. Their shooting percentages have been rather unlucky. Both should normalize, but it still doesn't look like a strong even-strength team.

They need really good goaltending. Hopefully Reimer's not out long.

I don't know about you, but I found a 1-0 game decided in overtime to be rather entertaining. Toss in the desperate nature of the Sharks while on their losing streak and the confident nature of the Preds as they steadily climb the standings...yes.

That said....hard to argue that any game last night wasn't entertaining. I was at NYR-BOS and that was an exciting finish. MTL-TBL was the exact same game only in a different location, so that was certainly entertaining in the third as well. Lots of good hockey at our disposal!
