Mitchell has played well and looked in good form out of the gate here. Hope he can continue that trend here. Also, with the absence of Ryan O'Reilly and the injury to Downie the Avs are a little inadequately prepared. I would like to see two things happen here:

Figure out a way to get O'Reilly signed ASAP.

Call up Sgarbossa, see if he cant fill in for Downie. Granted they are different types of players but 'sage' has made huge strides sense his acquisition from the Sharks.
