OK Jacobs IS and will Always be a two-faced no good rotten moth*& fu^*#@ that doesn't care about the game of Hockey. For all of us here in Boston who grew up watching Bourque & Neely spill their blood and guts for the Bruins but always were that ONE extra player away from winning the Cup and knowing Jacobs would never spend that extra $5 dollars to acquire that guy it is nothing new, YES JJ now spends to the cap limit and we all have to hear about how great he is for doing that it makes me puke in my mouth. Sickening. What I dont understand is WHY the hell nobody stands up to the guy. Leafs-Rangers-Habs-Hawks-Wings owners sit by and let this guy Run the friggen show, what gives. they know JJ is taking the public image hit so it seems like they are all okay with this. SOMEBODY out there on the owners side has to step up. This whole thing SUCKS

We'll see. I think everyone's taken the "believe it when you see it" approach, and rightfully so, but that'd be pretty sweet if Burton's on to something. I'll message some of my WBZ friends and see if they have some of the same inside word.

Only way this happens is if the players caved and took the owners last offer.

Bruins don't sign many free agents because they don't have to. They haven't been desperate to fill roster spots so they haven't had to overspend on free agents. Chiarelli makes smart trades and they have developed their draft picks well.

Oh, and they hired one of the best coaches in the business.

Somebody gets it. You're telling me that out of a collection of owners who run billion dollar empires, all of them are too scared to stand up to mean old Mr. Jacobs? People need a face to blame as evil incarnate and I'm sure Old Man Jacobs couldn't give a sh!t less that it's him.
