I had a blast. It was great being at a hockey game and hearing Paul's voice over the P.A. Even Big Ben's infamous beer belly made an appearance with the UAH Chargers logo on it.
I want to get back to seeing the Predators, but I will get my hockey fix in. UAH was first. I'm excited about the Ice Bears game as well. I make the trip to Knoxville 2 or 3 times a year to see the Ice Bears regardless. It'll be nice to see them in our arena.
Vandy has a club team. G.N.A.S.H. is starting up. There's plenty of hockey and other things to do to keep us occupied. |

Didn't make it to B'ham but glad for the great turnout. I plan on being at the SPHL game at the Bridge Sat night. It will be highly entertaining, I am sure.
Paul, are you doing the PA for the game? |

Waaaaay off this thread's topic, but apparently little or no hate for Preds draft picks this year? Why? No D-man until pick #6. (Which might turn out to not be a good thing after all. Such good D-men picks over the years.)
Anyway, with the first five being forwards, #6 & #7 defense, #8 another forward and the 9th a 6'4" goalie, maybe a gem or three will emerge in time. |

I really enjoy Ice Bears games. I tend to go to about 2-3 a year, and it's always been fun. I also like the fact that, at least on the days I've gone, they actively support the Preds by giving away signed Preds jerseys or game tickets. I still haven't been to an Ice Bears game where I haven't spotted a few Preds jerseys as well.
EDIT: Btw, it will be interesting to see who the crowd favors. Huntsville is closer, but Knoxville is in TN, and I consider the Ice Bears greater friends to the Predators than the Havoc.

I think it probably came down to no one even knew the draft occurred.... |

I might have dreamed the whole draft thing...not real sure at this point. Delirium set in some time ago.
Still have your same (empty for the moment) seats? |

I would guess Knoxville on the favorite side of things. Hoping for a good crowd no matter who is the favorite. |

Nah...baby Avery decided early on that her bedtime is at 6pm...and still goes with it. We miss the seats, but someday I guess we will just have to own three of them. That is, of course, if they ever play again.... |
